BIG BLUE CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Big Blue Technologies LLC Version 1.0 Effective Date: July 19, 2026
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (the "Policy") is incorporated into and forms part of the Big Blue Terms of Service by reference under Section 7.5. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. This Policy is presented to the Parker at the time of Booking, and the applicable cancellation window is displayed before payment.
1. How cancellation windows work
Because a parking Booking is a short, time-specific reservation, the amount of notice that lets a Host re-rent a Space depends on how long the Booking is. This Policy therefore sets a cancellation deadline that scales with the length of the Booking. The applicable deadline is shown to you at checkout and on your Booking confirmation.
All times are measured against the scheduled start time of the Booking, in the local time zone of the Space.
2. Before the Host confirms the Booking
If you cancel a Booking before the Host has confirmed it, you receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid, including the Big Blue service fee. No Booking has been accepted, so nothing is retained.
3. After the Host confirms the Booking
Once a Booking is confirmed, the following deadlines apply. Cancel on or before the deadline for your Booking length to receive a refund as described in Section 4. Cancel after the deadline, or fail to cancel, and the Booking is non-refundable.
| Booking length | Free-cancellation deadline (before start time) |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes | 1 hour |
| 1 hour | 1 hour |
| 4 hours | 1 hour |
| 24 hours (daily) | 12 hours |
| Multi-day / recurring | 24 hours before the start of each booked period |
Notes:
- For Booking lengths that fall between the listed buckets, the deadline of the next-longest listed bucket applies. (Example: a 2-hour Booking uses the 1-hour deadline; a 6-hour Booking uses the 12-hour deadline.)
- The specific deadline for your Booking is always displayed at checkout. Where the displayed deadline and this table differ, the deadline displayed at the time of Booking controls.
4. What a timely cancellation refunds
If you cancel on or before the applicable deadline in Section 3:
- The parking fee paid to the Host is refunded in full.
- The Big Blue service fee is also refunded in full. Big Blue refunds its service fee on every cancellation made before the applicable deadline, including cancellations before Host confirmation.
A cancellation after the deadline, or a no-show, is treated under Section 5 and is non-refundable, including the service fee.
5. What a late cancellation or no-show refunds
If you cancel after the applicable deadline, or do not cancel and do not use the Space (a "no-show"), the Booking is non-refundable in full, regardless of the reason, including traffic, weather, a change of plans, or a cancelled underlying event. The Space was held for you and the Host was prevented from re-renting it.
6. Host cancellations
6.1 If a Host cancels a confirmed Booking before its start time, or the Space is unavailable, inaccessible, or materially not as described when you arrive, you receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid, including the Big Blue service fee.
6.2 Where a Booking cannot be honored, a full refund of the amounts paid for that Booking is Big Blue's entire and maximum obligation to you, consistent with Section 7.5 of the Terms of Service. Big Blue does not guarantee a replacement Space and is not responsible for any difference in price, or any other cost, you incur parking elsewhere.
6.3 Host-side cancellations are tracked and repeated late cancellations by a Host may result in removal from the Platform.
7. Extensions and overstays
7.1 Extending a Booking, where the Space remains available, creates a new charge for the additional time at the listed rate and is subject to this Policy from the time of the extension.
7.2 Remaining in a Space past the end of your Booking without an approved extension (an "overstay") is a breach of the Terms of Service. You authorize Big Blue to charge your payment method for the overstay at 1.5x the listed rate for the overstayed period, plus any fees, fines, or towing costs the Host incurs, consistent with Sections 6.4 and 7.4 of the Terms of Service. Overstay charges are non-refundable.
8. How to cancel
Cancel from your Booking in the Big Blue app or at bigblueapp.com. Messaging the Host does not cancel a Booking and does not stop charges. It is your responsibility to cancel through the Platform before the deadline. The timestamp recorded by the Platform is the official time of cancellation.
9. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Refunds are typically initiated within [1–2] business days; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside Big Blue's control.
10. Listing-specific policies
A Host may set a stricter or more generous cancellation policy for a specific listing where the Platform allows it. Where a listing states a specific cancellation policy, that policy is disclosed at checkout and, to the extent it conflicts with this Policy, the listing-specific policy displayed at the time of Booking controls, except that a listing may not offer terms that violate applicable law.
11. Exceptional circumstances
Big Blue may, in its sole discretion and as a voluntary accommodation, grant a refund outside this Policy in exceptional circumstances (for example, a documented emergency or a Space made unusable by events outside either party's control). Any such accommodation is discretionary, is decided case by case, does not create a right or precedent, and does not modify this Policy. This Section does not limit any non-waivable statutory right you may have.
12. Changes to this Policy
Big Blue may update this Policy on a prospective basis as described in Section 17 of the Terms of Service. The Policy in effect at the time of your Booking governs that Booking.
